About the Presenter - Jen Mahon
Dr. Jen Mahon is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (DACVECC) with over two decades of hands-on experience in the trenches of veterinary emergency medicine. Her unique professional journey provides her with a 360-degree view of the emergency floor: she spent nearly a decade working as an Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Technician and Supervisor before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University and completing her residency there. Throughout her career as a staff criticalist, immersion program director, and the owner of Triskele Veterinary and Writing Services, Dr. Mahon has dedicated herself to training the next generation of veterinary professionals. She has lectured nationally and internationally on mechanical ventilation, trauma stabilization, and fluid therapy, and frequently provides educational consultation for premier industry platforms. Because she has stood in every role on the medical team, Dr. Mahon designs her continuing education to be intensely practical, logical, and immediately applicable to real-world clinical chaos.
