Meet Your Instructor
Julien Guillaumin, DVM, DACVECC, DECVECC Dr Guillaumin is a Tenured Professor in Emergency and Critical Care at Colorado State University. A graduate of the National Veterinary School of Nantes, France, Dr Guillaumin pursued his advanced training with an ACVECC residency at the University of California, Davis. After his residency, Dr Guillaumin was a clinician, teacher and researcher at the Ohio State University for 10 years. In 2015, Dr Guillaumin was recognized as an invited diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. Since 2019, Dr Guillaumin has a faculty member at Colorado State University. His clinical and research interests include thrombosis and thrombolysis, point-of-care ultrasound, hemostasis, sepsis and septic shock. Dr Guillaumin is a former Chair of the ACVECC residency training committee and the Joint Committee, as well as a member of the ECVECC Education Committee.
